This website was so neat! I watched a video about Mr. Dill's class. in the video it showed how a student, Emily, who was out for an illness was stil able to get her work off the class podcast for an upcoming test. This was great because the student did not expose the other childen to the illness, the student was able to come to school prepared to take the test, and the teacher did not have to spend class time catching the student up. The podcast is not only available anytime it is also accessble anywhere. If a student is traveling they still have access to the podcast if they have a computer. However a student must have acess to a computer to use these types of tools.
The podcast also allows for higher level thinking skills. The podcast is a new and creative way for students to learn. Not only is this tool important for students it is important for parents. Through the podcast a parent can be kept up to date on whats happening in the classroom. The parent also has another way of communication with the teacher. This website also gave a great link
